Elena and Bob first met playing volleyball. A mutual friend, Kathy Yen, put together a 4-person coed team for a 1 day grass tournament. Although they ended up winning their pool (ironically called the "Friendship" level) they didn't start dating immediately. A couple years later, through another mutual friend, Elena joined a team that Bob was already on. They got to know each other better and after a couple of months (and a team trip to Vegas), they started dating.
